Nevada

Nevada became a state on October 31, 1864. Prior to statehood, it was the Territory of Nevada (or Nevada Territory) between 1861-1864.

According to the survey, the earliest Germans from Russia to arrive in Nevada were second generation descendants of Volga Germans from the colony of Merkel. They arrived in Belmont, Nevada in 1910.

There were no immigrant Germans from Russia reported to have lived in Nevada. There were, however, first, second, third, fourth and fifth generation descendants living there at some point.
