Missouri

Missouri became a state on August 10, 1821. Prior to statehood, it was the Territory of Missouri (or Missouri Territory) between 1812-1821.

According to the survey, the earliest Germans from Russia to arrive in Missouri were second generation Volga Germans from the colony of Shcherbakovka. They arrived in Clinton, Missouri in 1911.

There were no immigrant Germans from Russia reported to have settled in Missouri. There were, however, first, second, third and fourth generation descendants living there at some point.
