Idaho

Idaho became a state on July 3, 1890. Prior to statehood, the state of Idaho today was a part if three different U.S. territories: the Territory of Idaho (1863–1890), the Territory of Oregon (1848-1859) and the Territory of Washington (1853–1889).

According to the survey, the earliest Germans from Russia to arrive in Idaho were immigrant Germans from the Bessarabian colony of Alt-Elft. They settled in American Falls, Idaho in 1905.

Immigrant Germans from Russia along with first, second, third, fourth and fifth generation descendants were reported to have lived in Idaho.
