New Hampshire
New Hampshire became a state on June 21, 1788. Prior to statehood, it was the Province of New Hampshire, an English and later a British colony, between 1629-1776.
According to the survey, the earliest Germans from Russia to arrive in New Hampshire were fourth generation descendants of Volga Germans from the colony of Kukkus. They arrived in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1977.
There were no immigrant Germans from Russia reported to have lived in New Hampshire. There were, however, second, third and fourth generation descendants living there at some point.
