Territory of Guam
Guam is an organized territory of the United States which was ceded to the U.S. from Spain on December 10, 1898. Prior to being a part of the U.S., Guam was a part of the Spanish East Indies.
According to the survey, the earliest Germans from Russia in Guam were fifth generation descendants of Volga Germans from the colony of Kratzke. They arrived in 1991 while stationed at Naval Base Guam, which is today a part of Joint Region Marianas.
